We are a Service Organization where you\u2019ll find members volunteering in communities to support education and job training, providing clean water, combating hunger, improving health and sanitation, and working to eradicate polio on the surface of earth. Welcome to the Rotary Club of Kampala Nsambya. It is a great honor to serve as President of this vibrant and dedicated club. Vision:<\/strong>\u00a0To be a united and vibrant club with an active membership dedicated to serving
humanity.
Mission:<\/strong> To carry out significant projects in the seven areas of focus of Rotary through uniting people of goodwill while upholding Rotary core values.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

Goals & Objectives<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

All committees, including Administration, Membership, Public Relations, Service and Rotary Foundation begin each Rotary year with specific goals that are important to our club. The club\u2019s committees are charged with carrying out the club\u2019s long-range and annual goals each year. They include Membership, Public Relations, Finance and Administration, Also, due to the importance of Rotary Foundation, Club Services has been automatically included in this strategic plan.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

The goals, objectives and action steps stated below are intended to Address our club\u2019s strategic priorities and values<\/strong><\/p>

    Profile of the Rotary Club of Kampala Nsambya<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

    Before the existence of the Rotary Club of Kampala Nsambya, there existed Nsambya Leaders Social Club (LSC) which used to meet every Tuesday at 8:00pm to discuss important issues and hosted visitors of importance. During 2012, one of the visitor was Past District Governor Nelson Kawalya who took keen interest in what the LSC was doing. He suggested turning the LSC into Rotary Club. He gave his reasons and members of LSC believed him. On 19 th day of July 2012, the club adopted the idea and held the 1 st fellowship of Nsambya Provisional Rotary Club at 8:00pm, in the Nsambya General Clinic Board room.<\/div><\/div><\/div>

    The Rotary Club of Kampala Nsambya was mothered by the Rotary Club of Mengo where Rtn. PDG Nelson Kawalya belongs and Rtn. PAG James Kalibala was the special Governor\u2019s Representative by then. The club started with 42 members but only 36 were registered with Rotary International. Our beloved club was admitted to RI on 10 th April, 2013 and we held the charter night on 7 th July 2013, with changed name from Nsambya Rotary Club to \u201cThe Rotary Club of Kampala Nsambya\u201d (RCKN).<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
